Reviews and Ratings
For a weekend ski trip in Zermatt, the hotel's rooms, with two bunk beds that offer little space to move around, were sufficient for our needs. The rooms were warm and met our expectations. The service provided a familiar environment, and the staff took great care of us, from serving food to helping with luggage. The location, despite occasional closures due to wind, offers stunning views of the Matterhorn and Zermatt. The dining experience, although lacking variety and quality, was somewhat disappointing. Overall, a good place for a ski getaway.
The hotel was quite basic and not very comfortable for the price paid. The rooms were small, Spartan, and cheaply furnished. However, the staff was friendly and helpful, taking good care of us despite the reduced service due to bad weather. The location is fantastic, overlooking Zermatt and offering beautiful views of the Matterhorn. The dining experience was very disappointing with low-quality food options. Overall, the facilities were lacking in terms of comfort and amenities.
